iConnect Closing Picnic

No, not the end of the world, just the end of iConnect. Our very last iConnect meeting of the 2017-2018 school year is our Closing Picnic on Sunday, April 22nd from 5:00 – 8:30 pm at Berea.

We will have dinner, games, a bonfire and tons of fun. The highlight will be an Arena Jousting Bouncy House. It’s not every day you get the opportunity to whack your friends and leaders. (In love, of course.) So invite your friends and sign up today.

Church Family Picnic

Join us on May 4th at 6:00 P.M. for food, fellowship and recognition of our Brigade groups and Pioneer Girls as we close out the season.   Sign up on the bulletin board outside of the church office for a dish to share, and we will grill the hamburgers and hot dogs. Everyone’s invited!

Women of Berea

Berea Women’s International Tea

Ladies, save the date and sign up today for our international tea. See Sue New for more information.

When:  Saturday, April 21, 2:30-4:00

Where:  Berea Fellowship Hall

Speaker:  Keri Kondracki

Theme: New Life

Our speaker works with MANNA International and is traveling to Eastern Europe later this spring. We would like to collect “ballet” type slippers and lightweight socks for her to take to the women and children. These items can be purchased at the Dollar Tree. See the bulletin board outside the office for a sample pair of slippers.

Clothing Drive

It is time for spring cleaning, and if you are cleaning your closets of gently worn clothes, coats, and linens, please donate them on April 22 between 9 – 11 A.M. to the Clothing Bank of Delaware (Friendship House).  If you won’t be here on that Sunday, you may bring your items to the church, and we will hold them until the donation day. Please Note:  We do not accept the following:  furniture, books, toys, games, videos, housewares and electrical appliances.

May Plant Exchange

Are you dividing perennials? Do you have too many vegetable transplants? Bring them to the Community Plant Exchange at Berea on May 5th!  All garden items are welcome:  perennials, annuals, vegetables, seeds, books etc.  Our exchange motto: Bring One, Take One!  Plants should be potted and labeled. Are you unable to attend but want to donate plants? They may be dropped off at Berea’s back lot the night before or on Saturday by 9:45 A.M.  Invite your friends and take home new plants for your garden from 10 A.M.—12 P.M.

Amazing Grays

Men of Berea come and enjoy a time of fellowship and a wonderful breakfast. We are going to take a break from the “Truth Project” series and examine what the book of James has to say about how we should live.  The question we will consider “Is my life consistent with my faith.”  We look forward to a great time together beginning on the 20th at 9 am.
